@NamdoTheCat I agree with your stance on piracy. The agrument of "If buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing," is bullshit due to piracy still being a crime and you're illegally stealing infringed content that you're supposed to pay for. All pirates have to realize they're breaking the law instead of making excuses for it. I do support devs, I had my Switch for over 7 years and have bought plenty of games, however to me modding consoles is very cool, which is why I did to my Switch via soldering. All pirates are criminals/breaking the law no matter how hard they use bullshit quotes to justify it, just own up to the fact.

They're some people complaining about the console price because they thought it would be the predicted $400, but the main problem people have is with the game price being $80, at least in the U.S. The economy, $80 for a game is insane. Things like this are the reason I pirate alot of my shit and modded my Switch because Nintendo never let's their game prices go down, Mario Odyssey is still $60 after almost 8 years of it's released

my problem with piracy is it's a crime no matter what. I know there's some areas where piracy is the only thing that makes sense. in my opinion, if you have money to support them, then you probably should. unless if they are Disney because they are actually evil. and you can always buy second hand.
keep in mind, not all the money goes to the company. but the employees as well
